Traditional all-in-one desktop computers merge the hardware of the monitor and the hardware of the PC tower into one space-saving package. Like a PC tower, the all-in-one unit has options for expanding the memory capacity.
All-in-One Desktops have a maximum memory capacity of at least 2GB, but usually have a capacity of 4GB or 8GB. Some, like the OptiPlex 980 All-in-one, have a 16GB capacity. The number of memory expansion slots range from one slot to four slots.
