If you are upgrading the memory modules on your IBM Netfinity server, be sure to populate all of the DIMM slots with new modules that have similar characteristics. Memory America has a large selection of DIMMs that are compatible with these older systems. The Netfinity lineup of servers is large and includes models that have a maximum memory range of 768MB to systems that can support 32GB of RAM. These machines use DDR SDRAM modules that are typically PC133 memory sticks. Be sure to review the memory modules that are currently installed in your server and order new modules of the same type. Also note that to achieve the best results, you should install new memory modules throughout the system rather than combining old modules and new modules.
