IBM RS/6000 POWERstation/POWERserver 25T computers are vintage machines that can be fired up today if they have been properly maintained. Proper maintenance would include installing new memory modules and Memory America has modules that are guaranteed to work in this computer. POWERstation/POWERserver 25T's were introduced in the early 1990s and use 72-pin EDO SIMM memory. This computer has 16MB of standard memory that is removable and eight expansion slots that can hold up to 256MB of memory. Upgrade memory must be installed in groups of four and the slots can support SIMMs sized at 32MB and less. You must remove the standard memory when installing the upgrade memory and eight 32MB SIMMs will get you to the 256MB maximum for this computer.
