Ordering and Billing
Placing an Order
To purchase an item online, first select the item and click the "Add to Shopping Cart" button on the bottom right of the item. When you have finished adding all items to your cart, select the "Shopping Cart" (located on the top right of the web page) and make any necessary adjustments to your order. After verifying that your order is correct, click on the "Checkout" button if purchasing with a Credit Card, or select "Checkout with PayPal" if you prefer using your PayPal account for billing. It is important that all billing information is entered accurately to match the billing address on your credit card. Any mismatching information may delay your order unnecessarily. Once all the information has been entered and verified, select the "Send Order" button to process your order. An order confirmation number will be issued to you immediately. We recommended that the confirmation page be printed or saved in a safe location for referencing. In the case of a suspected fraudulent order or a delayed response to clarify pending orders, we reserve the right to cancel any order that does not meet bank verification standards.
 
Special Orders
School Orders
Schools looking to purchase items by terms must accurately provide a purchase order listing the complete Shipping and Billing address including a contact phone number and fax. Estimates may be requested either by phone or by fax, however purchase orders must be faxed to:

Business Orders
Businesses looking to purchase and process payment under terms are required to fill out a Credit Application. Once the credit application has been approved, updated customer information and credit limit will be issued and notified. An application for credit may be requested at any time from a sales and support representative. Estimates may be requested either by phone or by fax, however purchase orders must be faxed to: (949) 333-3386 or e-mailed to: sales@memoryamerica.com unless otherwise stated.
International Orders
International orders are accepted from all countries ship and billable by UPS delivery standards. Shipping charges do not include taxes or duties and will not be listed on the billing invoice. Personal orders cannot be purchased under terms and immediate payment is required. Orders may be required to provide an authorization by fax or email and must contain:

- Copy of the front and back of the credit card used
- Copy of a recent photo ID
- In the case of a suspected fraudulent order, the customer will be notified and the order canceled after a no response.
Tax-Exempt Orders
Orders placed in the state of California are required to be charged a sales tax in the amount of 8.75% as of the Orange County area. Orders qualifying for a tax exempt in the state of California must provide qualification in paperwork such as a reseller permit or Government exempt form. Paperwork must be signed and faxed to: (949) 333-3386 or e-mailed to: sales@memoryamerica.com unless otherwise stated.
Payment Methods
Credit - Debit Cards
MemoryAmerica.com accepts payments in the following major Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB. When paying by credit card, you are required to enter the 3-4 digit card verification number listed on the back or front of the credit card. This security feature is important for online purchases to verify the card holder.
PayPal
PayPal is a secure online payment method used by customers to provide extra security as well as payment by bank checking accounts. Unfortunately payment by checks or money orders are not accepted, however an account with PayPal is available for customers looking to pay as an alternative to credit card payments.
Billing Information
When an order is placed, payment is first authorized for address verification and available funds. An authorization may reflect as a pending status charge, however, the status will clear within a period of 24-48 hours to reflect only a single order charge. Orders are not charged until availability and shipment. Orders with mismatching information may be delayed to verify billing information before processed.
Orders shipped in the state of California are susceptible to a sales tax of 8.75% percent. Tax will be applied upon checkout and reflected on the invoice. If you are tax exempt, please make sure to follow the instructions listed under the Special Orders section.

Delivery times are an approximation of the estimated time of arrival and may be susceptible to delays. Orders shipped within the state of California are automatically charged with a 8.75% state sales tax unless exempt.
Shipping Policies
Signature Required
Orders $250.00 and over are automatically sent with a signature required confirmation unless noted.
Refused and Undeliverable Addresses
Orders shipped and refused or returned because of an undeliverable address will not qualify for a credit return on shipping charges. Actual shipping charges will be deducted from your refund if the free shipping offer was used and the package was refused or returned to us because of customer error. If a returned package needs to be reshipped because of incorrect information provided, the customer is responsible for paying the additional fees to reship the package.
Damaged and DOA Packages
Items damaged during shipment are qualified for a full credit or replacement upon receipt of the damaged items. Items must be notified within 3 Days of delivery to qualify and a prepaid label will be issued to ship back the defective part(s).
Lost and Delayed Packages
Lost packages qualify for a full credit return if the order is shipped with UPS or USPS insured, and must undergo a shipping delivery claim in order to qualify for a full return of credit. Orders delayed past the selected shipping method estimate may qualify for a full return on shipping fees; however, orders shipped with free shipping does not qualify for a shipping fee credit.
Military APO/FPO, AE, and US Territories
Orders can only be shipped with USPS and may incur delays due to unforeseen events. Customers are liable for any custom taxes and duties that may apply.

Returns / Replacements

We offer a Lifetime warranty and support on all memory upgrades. By guaranteeing that the modules are fully compatible for your system, we offer high quality products at the best prices available.
If the part from Memory America fails while in use or is DOA (dead on arrival), and your warranty has not been voided by any means, we can provide an advanced replacement. Our technicians will help determine if the parts are DOA before replacing. Quick Return Plan
With our Quick Return plan, we advance replace any modules that are causing problems with your system Free of Charge. We believe a return service should be fast and reliable so that our customers are never left empty handed.
Advance replacements qualify for only the same part as you originally ordered. If we mistakenly ship the incorrect part, we can advance replace the correct part. Advance replacements are shipped with a new part(s) including a pre-paid label to ship back the defective/incorrect parts. We will provide a UPS Ground return label for all US 48 States orders, a USPS label for Alaska and Hawaii orders, and a UPS Worldwide expedited return label for international orders. If you do not return the parts within 14 days, you must pay for the parts. No return for credit against an advanced replacement will be accepted after 30 days of the invoice.
30 Day Money Back Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with our service, or had a change of mind on your order, we guarantee your money back within 30-Days of the order placed. A full refund (excluding shipping costs) will be issued upon receiving the return, and credited back to the payment method used. Some orders may be eligible or subjected to a 20% restocking fee once past the 30-Days Money Back Guarantee.
 
If you ordered the incorrect part, we will create a new order for you, and you may return the incorrect part for credit according to our credit policy.
We will credit your card on receipt of our part. Removed warranty labels and physical damage caused by improper handling will void your warranty. Overseas orders must be sent back to us by insured airmail. You must contact and request an RMA return for credit or we WILL NOT authorize a return for credit and your order refused.
 
The following conditions are not acceptable for return, and will result in your RMA being returned to you:
a). Used Hard Drives with no evidence of being defective.
b). Physically damaged items cannot be returned to MemoryAmerica.com unless received DOA or notified within 3 days of delivery.
c). Modules that are missing the manufacturer label containing model number and part number.
d). Modules that are missing the manufacturer warranty label - USB Drives, Thumb Drives, Flash Memory, or any related product that is returned without the cap or protective casing.

Want to get rid of your used computer memory? Be good to the environment - don't throw it away! Tell us what you have and we may offer you store credit.
For Trade-Ins:
Please email us with the product model, part number and specs. In order to receive credit for your trade-in, the item must be in near-new condition and be fully functional.
For Recycles:
If you want to simply recycle your old memory and components, please send it to our mailing address below. Be advised that you will not receive credit for recycled items.
